What happens if you’re the winning bidder.
When an auction ends with a winning bid, here’s what we do to aid in delivery.
1. The buyer gets an email from GIVIN to remind them to pay.
2. When the buyer pays, they are sent an automatic email as their receipt with the seller’s info so they can arrange for pickup/delivery.
3. When the buyer has paid for their item, GIVIN sends the seller an email similar to this one:
Your auction for [description] had a winning bidder. Per the Terms of Service, you should be contacted by the winning bidder, [Purchasers Name and email address], within 10 days to arrange for pickup, delivery, or shipping of the item.
If the winning bidder has not contacted you within 10 days, please let us know and the winning bidder payment will still go to the charity you chose, but we can relist the item for sale again.
